We wanted to update everyone on what is happening at Thone Animal Hospital. As we said before, we are going to be transparent to the community. Dr. DiMari’s recovery has been very slow since he also has pneumonia along with the COVID. He is hoping to be able to come back to work starting on Wednesday, September 23rd for half days until his strength returns. Dr. Freeman will also be there and thankfully has tested negative twice at this point. The first week that we are back open, we will not be performing any surgeries. We are so sorry if this causes any inconvenience for anyone. Our schedule for next week will look like this:
Monday, September 21st 7:30 – 5:00
Tuesday, September 22nd 7:30 – 12:00
Wednesday, September 23rd 7:30 – 5:00
Thursday, September 24th 7:30 – 12:00
Friday, September 25th 7:30 – 5:00
Saturday, September 26th 8:00 – 12:00
For the next two weeks, we will not be allowing anyone into the hospital and will do curbside only. We have had one other employee test positive, but they have been isolating at home. The rest of our staff have tested negative and remain healthy. Our hospital was deep cleaned on Friday, and our top priority continues to be the health of our clients, patients and employees. Once we open the hospital up, masks will be required at all times.
